Doing New Year's goods and writing Spring Festival couplets is a traditional festival custom of the Chinese nation, and it is also a "sense of ceremony" full of fireworks. Approaching the Spring Festival, the green lake park is full of blue skies, visitors are weaving, and the lively and festive atmosphere of the park opens the "festival warm-up mode".

On January 13, 2024, the Green Lake New Year Market will be officially "launched". The Spring Festival Market is located in the southwest corner of Cuihu Park, displaying flowers, palace lanterns, New Year's goods and other festival customs, and setting up a music station to hold a music salon, so that everyone can experience Yunnan's traditional culture such as handicraft culture, intangible cultural heritage culture, and food while visiting Cuihu, and appreciate the life atmosphere of eating, shopping and playing.

The Green Lake New Year Market is decorated with Chinese red and golden yellow as the main colors, with red lanterns and colorful "canopy lanterns" hanging and a group of "New Year" check-in points composed of dragons and peonies. Citizens and tourists purchased exquisite Spring Festival couplets and handicrafts for the Year of the Dragon, tasted sweet honey, tender ham, etc., and took away a handful of delicate "New Year Flowers", making the auspicious Rui Qi of the Year of the Dragon more vivid. On the bandstage, balanced guitar and saxophone played popular tracks, and everyone was intoxicated by the joyful atmosphere.
