In the 31st year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi during the Qing Dynasty (1692), Governor of Yunnan Wang Jiwen built Biyi Gazebo on Huxin Island. He also built Laishuang Tower, as well as Haixin Gazebo, at the northern bank of the lake. Haixin Gazebo is a double-eve gazebo with glazed tiles, which has attracted many men of letters. In the gazebo shaded by plants and trees, tourists can drink tea and take a rest, talking about historical and current events with great delight.
